Hannah Directory is a yearly print publication, website and launch week of events celebrating the great stuff that people are doing in places in England's north, and asking how even more of it can happen. Each year a different designer works on the directory using only one colour and three paper stocks.

I was commissioned to design the 2019 publication. My concept was based around the physical location of the projects and people featured in the directory, creating an abstract map of the North of England. The cover represents the entire directory on the cover, showing the overlap between places, disciplines and projects. Each contributor gets a dot on the map, with a pattern that corresponds to what they do. This design is extended into the internal directory pages and the introduction.
